3. When I was 18 I spent 3 weeks in France

I spent part of that time staying with a family in Senlis. Their home was built within a Roman Wall and their basement was an old storage area with columns supporting the structure above. I thought it was interesting at the time but looking back over the pictures now I realize the history of the place. We consider homes here in the Boston area that were built in the 17th century old. Roman columns in someone's basement... now THAT'S old.
