this is just another glaring example as to how religious faith can cloud even the finest of minds and make such minds incapable of making rational judgements about the caliber of other fine minds who might challenge some people's beliefs and faith.

I really doubt that many of DU's "finest minds" have actually read much of Dawkins, perhaps have read a few articles about Dawkins, or seen a few video clips, but few of them probably have forged their way through two or more of his books.

Strange how some of the "finest minds" cannot find themselves comfortable when their belief systems are seriously challenged by a fine mind as well. How quickly those "finest minds" resort to ad-hominem attacks or projections.
