But for very good reasons, we refer to some places in the south as the "Bible Belt." The difference from rural Tennessee and Chicagoland is eye opening to me...having lived in both. Even the laws reflect upon this...

Tennessee's State Constitution, Article 9 Section 2
"No person who denies the being of God, or a future state of rewards and punishments, shall hold any office in the civil department of this state."
