elevated to the same status as non-belief. Non belief makes no extraordinary claims, it is the failure to be convinced of the extraordinary claim that magical sky beings exist due to lack of any evidence for this alleged existence.
I hate to go there, but do you seriously consider non belief in Santa Claus to be equivalent to belief in Santa Claus?
