12. A Baptist minister showed up at my door Saturday morning...

... selling his religion, with his two small children in tow. I opened the door, the children thrust a couple of flyers into my hands.

The minister then introduces himself. He's a pleasant enough fellow, but after he finishes telling me who he is and what he does for a living he asks me, "Have you thought about where you're going to spend eternity."

Now, I'd say I'm a fairly impassioned antitheist. While I am told this makes me "just as bad" as the guy knocking on my door, threatening me with hellfire while effectively using his children as human shields against the salvo of sciency shit I normally dispense upon such malefactors, it occurs to me that I have never gone door to door to talk to people about atheism, or handed out invitations to atheist organizations or free atheist tracts, or, least of all, spoke authoritatively about where one may or may not end up after death as a means to sell my personal philosophy to others.

But I'm the arrogant one.
