(57,349 posts)76. I remember when my doctor refused to tie my tubes.
I never wanted kids and decided to have the procedure at age 28 and be done with it. I was informed that he wouldn't help me because I was too young to know what I wanted and in his opinion women always change their minds about such things.
He also wouldn't refer me to another doc.
Living in the bible belt sucks, there is just no escape. I'm to the point where I'd rather take up residence in a cardboard box in a blue state than live in the McMansion communities near Baptidomes.
