That argument gets spun 180 right back at the moderate believers by the fundamentalists. But I'd say there's not a single believer on earth who takes 100% of their holy text literally. Simply cannot be done.
So by saying:
If you pick and choose, you aren't really following the religion, IMO.
You're claiming that there isn't a single person in the world following ANY religion.
