Is gnocchi an abomination to the FSM? [View all]

I am thinking about trying my hand at making my own potato gnocchi this weekend. I'm concerned that since it is potato based, it may be an abomination to the FSM. Anybody able to help me out? I just want to know if I face possible excommunication for touching that which is unclean.
