on that "not believing in god" opinion. I normally don't think that it is something to hide in the closet, or to be ashamed of, but in your case, it isn't worth it. We are atheists, we are not fundie fanaticals----it isn't worth dying for.

But also, if you have the ability to distance yourself from your dad, that would probably be advise you should take.
