6. An interesting point, but...

... I guess it depends on what version of the story we're supposed to take seriously.

At the end of Genesis 6, God commands Noah to build the ark and to gather two of every animal, but at the beginning of Genesis 7, God gives Noah seven days to collect seven pairs of every clean animal, one pair of every unclean animal, and one pair of "every bird of the sky" (sorry ostriches, emus, cassowaries, and penguins).

It just goes to show the kind of mental acrobatics apologists have to pull off to make this story "work". Hilariously enough, the story is even sillier after they try to make sense of it.
