for the next couple of days.Since the Northern Hemisphere’s winter began on the Dec. solstice, this is the second full moon of the season (second for summer in the Southern Hemisphere). People call it different names: Wolf Moon, Snow Moon, Hunger Moon or Moon after Yule The Hopi name for this moon - paamuya or Moon of Life at its Height - shows the adept Hopi observers of the night sky noticed that this moon follows the path of the summertime sun. Watch for it, especially when it's at its highest for the night, around midnight. 🌕🌌
