Serious weather across Montana... [View all]

It's been a wind storm since early 3/28 and it hit 65F where I'm at, over night it stayed in the high 40s.

I got up because of loud wind at 4:30am and it was still 45F. 90 minutes later it's 28F with snowfall so dense that visibility is about 100ft. I can barely see the end of the driveway. Been snowing like that for an hour now with variable moderate to high wind. I'd say we're having a blizzard. There's about 2" on the ground but it won't be there long as the ground is no longer frozen.

Of course we uncovered the bulbs and some of the flower beds. I had to put some live onion starts outside but I put them in a cold frame so I think they'll be okay.

Springtime in the Rockies, gotta love it.
