3. Thought we were the only "hermit" couple.

It is not uncommon for Mr dixie and me to email each other across the house. He has his den, I have mine.
We appreciate each other's right to be absorbed in a movie or surfing or reading, etc.

Individually talking to people we run into is an ok thing, it is "normal" here in the south to chat with people you run into.
But socializing and small talk in a group...painful. We do not "go out".
Most of our true friends are email and telephone contacts.
Just dandy for us.
