I make documentaries and other short films so I am always curious to see as many of the nominated films as possible.

Also I was in an office building that had a fire burning in an electrical closet for 3 hours. The alarm went off every time they reset it but they told us all to stay put. It was not until the end of the business day when HVAC shut down that they discovered the source of the alarm.

I was also on a plane that caught fire on takeoff when I was 4 years-old. That was a wild one because everyone could see the fire but could not escape the plane until emergency landing.

The film stopped many times during playback perhaps because of this morning's interest in the film. I will try to watch it all again later.
