12. Ballots themselves should never go to or from any political party

Forms requesting to vote absentee by mail likely can be mailed to voters by organizations and received by them. But the actual ballots need to be mailed directly by them and completed ballots received directly from the voters by mail or in person.

If you do receive an application request find out where and how it can be sent to your local election board. Where I am I can fax my app to the board. At least one state allows the request by email.
