There are a few on the right who are either antisemites or theocrats that will go after Bernie on his religion. Look at some of the groups supporting trump and even Cruz.
I think to ignore antisemites is dangerous. I have seen a rising tide of antisemitism in the world that is frightening. Couple that with the extreme evangelical support for the GOP and I am betting on the GOP campaign allowing the more rabid voices to go unsilenced. Just like they did with Obama. Trumps political career this time started with birtherism and racism.
I support HRC but if Bernie is the nominee I think the democratic response should be strong and swift to antisemites.
As far as socialism I can't really comment since the 1st group I joined as a young person was the progressive labor party. Socialists don't scare me, I think they are lacking on some major issues and I don't align myself with socialism anymore but they aren't evil. But I will tell you when I was passing out political pamphlets at my HS, I actually got yanked out of school and questioned by detectives for being a communist dupe infiltrating my HS. I'm 65 so there is a segment of the population that believes socialists are anti American.
