I'm a younger boomer. My husband is an older boomer. We are 9 years apart in age. But I knew what was going on in the 60s as a kid because I watched the TV news with my parents and they talked about politics and we went to a lot of Democratic functions just for fun and something to do.

We are both for Bernie.

Since I started working summers in the 1970s, we both feel like we have been spinning our wheels and going nowhere with our jobs for 35 years --since Reagan was elected President. TPTB started cracking down on all those dirty hippie protesters against the Vietnam War. And cracking down economically.

I was in the later group of 70s so-called hippies, but I always took baths and never dropped out of college or became a goof-off.
