1. There is no doubt that "Dominionism" is scary, and antithetical to democracy and to Christianity

as most of us know it.

Basically states that those who already have "dominion" over things, like the 1 percent, deserve that dominion and are entitled to even more dominion. Here are two flavorful Dominionist quotes:

Genesis 3:16
To the woman he said, “I will surely multiply your pain in childbearing; in pain you shall bring forth children. Your desire shall be for your husband, and he shall rule over you.

Luke 10:19
Behold, I have given you authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall hurt you.
