Don't let my screen name turn you off, I don't bite (well, not usually).
I'm looking for respectful dialogue, so perhaps that can happen in this thread (yes, I must be a dreamer I know but what do you expect of a Sanders supporter)?
Here's the thing, I'm wondering if more Clinton supporters are driven by wanting the candidate most likely to win in November, or the candidate you are most in agreement with on the issues. Now, on many issues Clinton and Sanders are not far apart. But there are differences. The death penalty, single payer health care, legalization of pot, minimum wage (although $12/$15 seems relatively minor to me), and of course there is the issue of a candidate who has not taken lots of money from large corporations.
Respectfully, I'm just curious overall for you if it's more an electability issue or an issues issue. I understand it could be both, but the poll won't really be all that helpful in satisfying my curiosity unless I make it binary, so you have to choose if you choose to indulge me in this exercise. Also goes without saying I hope but please do be honest and not just what you think Sanders supporters will not want to hear. Maybe just take a deep breath before clicking...thanks.
It's like I tell my students, when we start a discussion there are no right or wrong answers, it's all about trying to understand. We do want to understand each other, don't we?
