it part of his nature to be thoughtful and reasonable.
He also campaigned on being the adult in the room.
But, as a practical matter, he also is a black male, and as most black males know you have to tread VERY carefully about speaking the truth, much less being completely upfront about it, or be labeled as being angry,which is a real problem if you are a black male.
I know a lot of people here don't get it, but had he spoke out about republican bullshit, he would never had won re-election. As is, THEY have ginned themselves up think he has been SO HARD TO WORK WITH, all their arrogant "he made his bed" comments and all.
