2016 Postmortem
In reply to the discussion: Please don't focus on one tree (Clinton or Sanders) and lose site of the forest. [View all]Nay
(12,051 posts)38. Thank you. Inexplicably, Obama floats a Pub governor as a
possible SC pick, and we're supposed to believe that it is so, so necessary to get a Dem president because of SC choices? It boggles the mind. Does Obama not know the effect this has on us? What are we to think? That he didn't mean it? That he's faking out the Pubs? Maybe he is, but why not wait to float a Pub until after Super Tuesday?
Inexplicable. And it surely doesn't reassure us that Hillary would be nominating liberals to the SC.

But for dems voting for Nader the issue would never have been before the court.

I'm a white senior (I'll be 72 next Tuesday) and I don't waste my votes on neolibs.

So many posters on DU who think saying 'I'm a lawyer' gives them credibility. I'm not a lawyer but
