Republicans who are more moderate and hate what the Republican party has become - but they dislike Hillary so they prefer Sanders. I had at least 3 Republican friends who voted for Obama because in the first election they were scared of McCain and Palin and in the second because they hated the idea of Mitt Romney and what they saw as the disintegration of the middle class. One of my Republican friends hates the idea of how money is influencing elections. We disagree on some issues (she works for a nuclear energy company) but she believes politicians are corrupt and would never vote for Clinton. She is toying with Sanders but will probably sit out the primary. In a general if it were Trump vs Sanders - she would vote Sanders. Trump vs Clinton - she will sit it out.
