258. Are you familiar with the dreadful 'Welfare Reform Bill' she was so proud of, and what it did and

is still doing to poor women and children? She DID create 'jobs' at slave labor wages for mothers who were punished by that legislation if they didnt 'act responsibly' you know, like she had to do, by cutting their welfare and providing cheap labor for her Corporate buddies, while those 'jobs' were often hours away and those children had to fend for themselves since their mothers could not be home lest they lose essential money to feed them.

Are you familiar with her statement on children of immigrants a few months ago at all? And with Bernie's? What a contrast.

She and her husband are RESPONSIBLE for the 'need for reform' in the Justice system, so it's hard to know if she has backed off her passionate support for more 'police on the streets' 'three strikes' which put thousands of non violent people in jail. For the Private Prison Industry? For 'tough on crime' but only on the poor, the drug laws and on and on.

I am stunned by people who are dems who supported ANY of these policies she has BOASTED about for so long and played such a huge role in getting votes for, she told us.

The dog whistling as she promoted the Welfare Reform Bill, confirming the Right Wing lie that it was AAs who were on Welfare, furthering Reagan's falsehood about 'Welfare Queens' when the truth was that more white Americans were on Welfare at the time

Why she was able to get Republicand on board, this was THEIR policies which THEY had failed to pass into law, now passed by a Dem administration.

And Women? I am a woman, I still don't see the main issue women care about anywhere near being accomplished, equal pay, nor do I recall HER even trying to get it passed.
