chronic pain.

Read this in an AMA publication -- [under CDC recommendations] physicians “would prescribe” pain medications “only after considering non-addictive pain relievers, behavioral changes and other options.” Additionally, “the CDC...wants” physicians “to prescribe the lowest effective dose possible.” Meanwhile, “for short-term pain, the CDC recommends limiting opioids to three days of treatment, when possible.”

That means, that if a physician thinks opiods are the best treatment, you will very likely get it. With a shunt and your other conditions, I think most docs would write a prescription without hesitation.

Rush Limbaugh will have a tougher time.
