(4,667 posts)The proportional nature of the elections, combined with the low percentage of remaining delegates that Hillary needs to clinch the nomination, makes it virtually impossible that Bernie will win the nomination. Further division within the Party cannot be constructive, but can only be destructive. This does not mean that Bernie should drop out, necessarily, nor that Bernie supporters should not offer constructive criticism. But it does mean that Bernie supporters need to end the rhetoric that will harm the person who will become the Democratic nominee for President, as it does no good, and indicate their willingness to stand behind Hillary when she wins. By presenting a unified front we strengthen Hillary's campaign, and the sooner we do it, the greater that strengthening.
