It would just illustrate what a poor candidate he is. It is his responsibility, along with his staff, to figure out how to generate media attention.

He gives the same speech, in similar settings, over and over again. At some point, it's not news. He should do something bold to catch the media's eye, like promise to make Hawaii independent, or name Tommy Chong as his running mate.
