It took a few tries to get the GO message. By the end of the day, though, and many stations later, I had it down. I'm not a New Yorker, just a tourist.
I doubt that Hillary Clinton has ever ridden the subway before in her life. A proper swipe is a learned behavior. Practice is needed.
I say she got the PLEASE SWIPE AGAIN MESSAGE.

As habit, I stand out of the chute when swiping, some turnstiles have proximity sensors in them.
