4. It is all B S ... Total and complete BULLSPIT

Feb 2012

and has been all of 20+ adult years.

end of the day, the republicans protect one thing, and one thing only - the ultra rich.

Their way of doing this is to be in power.

Their way of being in power is to scream as loud as they can about about whatever will get people pissed off or scared, and it change from day to day, and they don't care.

In 90s, it was an endless string of BS about Clinton, and putting this sense of vicimization into people. God, gays and guns, that was all that mattered because the economy was strong, the budget was balancing and we were at peace. Clinton was politicising terrorism for his benefit. Bush was elected to not engage in nation building which was the negative frame for an effective military intervention (like Lybia) in serbia. It also was bad to have a surplus, because you just could not trust the government to have money.

Bush gets elected, and was floundering badly when HE LEFT the greatest national security disaster in our history occur. That of course was somehow Clinton's fault, and all after accusing Clinton of politicizing terrorism, they ... Politicized terrorism to no end to control DC for the next 5 years. They also engaged in the biggest foreign policy debacle in our history - nation building Iraq.

The deficit did not matter for 7 years.

It only started to matter a year before a democrat got elected president. And, of course, the COMMANDER IN CHIEF and you can't criticize a president when troops are in the field BS ended in January of 2009.

Obama got elected, and of course the deficit he did not create but was responsible for was going to destroy the country.

Bush landed on a fricken air craft carrier to announce victory in Iraq prior to nearly a decade of our trying to referee a civil war there, Obama elegantly handled the killing of OBL, and he of course was taking a victory lap.

Now that the economy continues a slug like recovery, the Rs are cycling back to culture wars BS because there is nothing else for them to get any meaningful traction on.

I repeat:

end of the day, the republicans protect one thing, and one thing only - the ultra rich.

Their way of doing this is to be in power.

Their way of being in power is to scream as loud as they can about about whatever will get people pissed off or scared, and it change from day to day, and they don't care.

Jerkoffs like Brooks can do their intellectual BS with one another proudly patting each other on the back for being "PROUD CONSERVATIVES" all they want, but end of the day, this is their party. R ruthless political machine, its only concern to get power and protect the ultra rich.
