She decided she wanted to sell out to Wall Street so she could live like a rock star. Evidently, $600k/yr in LIFETIME FEDERAL PENSIONS plus millions in book deals just simply wasn't enough.
And the progressive wing of the Democratic Party is supposed to just hop on her bandwagon and act like behavior that runs contrary to EVERY FIBER OF OUR BEING is ok, because, well, she's like really experienced, and has waited her turn, and we just have to elect a woman even though all the progressive women sat this election out...
Sorry, but the corporate cash grab/soul sell-off is a deal breaker for me and millions of others. I've fought long and hard for what I believe in, and often suffered as a result. I'm not voting for someone owned by the very forces that are my mortal enemies.
I'll vote Democrat for every other office on my ballot in November, but if HRC is the Democratic nominee, I'll choose between actual progressives who are on my ballot (Green, Socialist, CUSA, etc.). This isn't on me - it's 100% on her. Nobody forced her to take all of that dirty money. No one is preventing her from giving it back. If she made an effort to atone for her corporatist behavior, I'd be willing to reconsider. The ball is in her court.
From my point of view, she's either one of us, or one of them. She's got work to do to convince me of the former.
