2016 Postmortem
In reply to the discussion: Ok, so you're Bernie or Bust. What do you want from Hillary supporters then? [View all]auntpurl
(4,311 posts)75. In my opinion
(and it's only an opinion) it's difficult to impossible for ANY candidate to stop taking PAC money until the laws are changed. You still have to be competitive. When everyone is on a level playing field, THEN we will see what candidates really believe.
Fracking: I don't like it either. But it DOES reduce our dependence on foreign fuel. Hillary has said her big priority is clean energy (and creating jobs in that sector) so we can STOP relying on these other sources.

This election is about more than Bernie, it's about the continual erosion to the right of the party

I doubt that Bernie people post with Clinton people in mind very much.

I am not telling a Hillary supporter what to do and I expect to be left to my own decisions as well.

You were heartbroken to have to vote for the more progressive Democrat in the GE?

This isn't a purity contest. And Hillary is just as progressive as Obama anyway.

Yeah, right, just as progressive. I don't recall Obama voting for the Iraq War,.
