36. I keep thinking

about when Bernie went from Binghamton, NY, up to the Onondaga Nation. There were some nice photos of Bernie meeting with Faith/Wisdom Keeper Oren Lyons, Paul's nephew. And of our option for a very different kind of politics and leadership.

And I remember back when I was a young man, hearing Oren say that the fruits of our labor for true democracy -- fully connected to the Natural World -- might not take place in our lifetimes. But that we were investing in the future for seven generations.
