the whole Orange Revolution in the Ukraine was premised on this. We as a government, accuse other countries of shenanigans often, but if we looked at the US electoral system the way we look at systems abroad, we would not pass muster. The government would accuse us of not running a clean election.
By the way, the irony is striking.
My irony meter is now permanently broken.
