331. A heartfelt note to you Autumn.

Autumn,

Nine states, thousands of miles, personal donations and four months away from my spouse… That is the tiniest of glimpses of what 2008 was like for me and still my then preferred candidate lost. I remember being so angry and disappointed, it sucked and I wanted every person who told me to fall in line to $#@! off!

I did just that, at least until my candidate said to stop looking in the past and to move forward. I’m grateful for President Obama and indeed I did vote for him and in the end, I’m so happy that I did.

Wherever you are, please accept my apologizes for the disagreement that we had. I remember what it felt like and also remember wishing then Senator Obama’s supporters were kinder to the rest of us. I offer that to you.
