2016 Postmortem
In reply to the discussion: NO we are not dropping out, NO we will not tone it down, Nothing will stop us. We're ALL IN!!! [View all]Uncle Joe
(65,564 posts)95. You totally missed the point.
1. The first is just a matter of mathematics, law and potential consequences, this is a very real possibility but if it happens, don't blame Bernie or his supporters, Hillary brought it on her self.
2. Too many broad brush posts like the one you just posted only serves to increase the chances of the second scenario taking place. I don't believe the vast majority of Bernie supporters will vote for Trump, but if the Democratic Establishment, corporate media conglomerates and Hillary supporters demonize them too much, an increased number will be disaffected with the Democratic Party which surely wouldn't help in a general election should Hillary be the nominee.

Hillary Clinton is the embodiment of white privilege, you must be white or you'd see it like I do.

Your opinion. Trump will lose spectacularly. Clinton has been attacked by the repugs . . .

I hope you are correct, but she changed the playing field by her flagrant conflicts of interest

Perhaps you're coming to face the harsh truth; the electorate isn't as leftist as you are

My first post which you replied to made the case for the Democratic Party winning, not just Bernie.

Your post made the case for the Democratic party accepting Bernie's terms as a condition for winning

If the primaries have proven anything, it's that we don't live in a democracy.
