Of one thing I'm sure, after spending much time on reddit, there's no such thing as a 'libertarian' in the US, most are just selfish kids sitting in their mom's basement whining that they are required to contribute anything to their society in order to survive. Thus the "free stuff" meme that's been stuck to Bernie appeals to them. (yes, this is an exaggeration, but I made myself laugh typing it.)
