That is precisely why chalk would have been used. Unlike spray paint messages, these are meant to get the attention they deserve and then wash off.
Looks like the message worked. You and I can see how an unfair election process will be dealt with. I personally hope this discussion goes where it should be... HOW AN UNFAIR ELECTION PROCESS WILL BE DEALT WITH.
