If we are going into the GE to beat Trump, we need to leave these fantasies behind. It makes a nice smear but as we move to a GE strategy we are going to have to think more straightforwardly. We will have to be more honest with ourselves about our strengths and weaknesses in that match up.
Donald Trump is a flamethrower -- this parade of strawmen that was unleashed on Sanders is not going to cut it against Trump; mostly because, unlike what the blackout and Swiftboating of Bernie that helped the strawmen succeed, the MSM will give Trump the airtime to respond.
