The party has always had disdain for the base and we know that. But what we've witnessed over the past year or so is that they are willing to completely gut us from the party and push forward with their conservative corporatist agenda. They seem to be firm believers in the "if you can't beat 'em, join 'em" mantra. This is how we ended up with a war loving conservative party.
