I'm just sorry that many here chose sides and missed the original point that author of the linked article in the OP was trying to make. Too often people here are closed minded and are quick to jump to their preconceived conclusions. Some here said bad things about the author of that linked story for what, because he tried to reach out to a couple of young men who were disillusioned by what they thought was an injustice and tried to give them another perspective. How sad.

But thanks again for renewing my faith that everything in this country is not as hopeless as what is depicted here on DU.
