She didn't end her campaign until the convention, and before the Convention she wrote to every superdelegate making her case that she was the stronger candidate. Her campaign was also discussing going after Obama's pledged delegates, but I don't think they went through with that. Bernie is just planning to go to the Convention to make his case.

I don't see the sexism any more than I think anti-semitism it at play in the way Bernie has been treated. But I can say that he certainly has not been treated as well as she was in 2008.
