2016 Postmortem
In reply to the discussion: How California was stolen from Sanders. Massive voter suppression in California documented. [View all]Retrograde
(11,459 posts)37. There was one precinct in San Francisco
that used to have its polling place in a Starbucks. I stopped in once: they shoved a bunch of tables aside and set up the polling place in the back of the store.
When I moved to Californian in 1976 I was surprised that my polling place was somebody's garage. I've since voted in a firehouse, a couple of churches halls, the laundry room of an apartment complex, and the lobby of an office building (they provided donuts). While I'm a permanent mail voter, I did have an assigned polling place for this election - a rec room in a senior center.

OP
This and other campaign "dirty tricks" and slanders used against Sanders will not encourage unity.

Except, the early voting had Hillary way ahead. How does he account for that.

Most of that is simply complaints about the hurdles NPP voters must jump to vote in a Dem primary.

I know at least a half dozen Hillary supporters who didn't bother to vote today.
