2016 Postmortem
In reply to the discussion: This is who we nominated...more Clinton Foundation corruption (CNN) [View all]HerbChestnut
(3,649 posts)23. From Wikipedia (Because I can't view his entire profile on LinkedIn)
From 1991 to 2001, Fernando worked in trading positions at the Chicago Mercantile Exchange and the Chicago Board of Trade.[5][7][8]
In 2002, Fernando founded Chopper Trading, a Chicago-based proprietary trading firm that concentrated in the areas of fixed income, equities, and other products.[9] The company has been regarded for their investments in technology, hiring highly qualified programmers, and for low employee turnover.[9][10] Under Fernandos leadership, Chopper Trading had a presence on major U.S. exchanges including the CME, CBOT, NYSE, and internationally on the LSE, ICE, and Eurex.[7] As CEO, Fernando grew the company to over 200 employees, with offices in Chicago, New York, London, Munich, San Francisco, and Washington, DC.[7][11]
In January 2015, Fernando sold Chopper Trading to DRW Trading Group, another Chicago-based proprietary trading firm.[12][13]
In 2016, Fernando launched Scoutahead.com, an Internet start-up. Fernando currently serves as the Chairman and CEO of Scoutahead.com.[14][15]
As far as foreign policy is concerned, this is what was listed:
Raj Fernando serves on the board of directors for the American Security Project.[5] He also serves on the Foreign Policy Leadership Committee at the Brookings Institution and has been a member of the Chicago Council on Global Affairs.[3][5]
Compared to some of the other people that have been given Top Secret security clearance, this seems pretty shallow...

Exactly. How can we get demoralized, if we never read about any of Hillary's mistakes! It's perfect.

His actual resume? You mean the one State Dept refused to give to a reporter for a story on Quals?

It isn't up to the State Department to give out anyone's resume. That is up to the individual.

We didn't nominate the Clinton Foundation, and Hillary's connection there is as a donor.

No wonder I couldn't find salary information about this board. It's an unpaid position!

That we KNOW she's vulnerable to blackmail and picked her anyway doesn't say much for us.
