2016 Postmortem
In reply to the discussion: Hey HRC supporters--why the continued attacks on Bernie? Party unity? [View all]Betty Karlson
(7,231 posts)142. The realisation has dawned that the Bernie movement is still going strong - and they hate it.
They hate that there will be a millions strong movement holding Clinton's feet to the fire every step of the way. They hate that the party will go left, not further right. They hate it that even if they manage one more lurge to the right in 2016, the Berning movement will drag the party leftward from 2018 onward. They hate that corporation-coddling Dems will be primaried, DWS-style, from here on. They hate that more Debbie-style shenanigans will come at the risk of splitting the party.
In short: they hate that we have a point and will continue to make it. And again. And again. And again.

OP
I don't know who sent you that. This is Bernie's 6/8 email. I don't see Hillary's name at all.

Bad behavior - including blackmail - is not warranted from either side. Stop excusing it.

So you're using blackmail to excuse bad behavior? Doubling down on the bad behavior, eh?

I think it is wrong for HRC supporters to bash Sanders. And for Sanders supporters to bash HRC.
