But I don't think it's that complicated. When Hillary and Warren aimed it at Trump it was basically "Stop. You're embarrassing yourself." In that context I thought it was pretty funny.

Assume it's pretty much intended to be the same (or a cutsey stfu) when aimed at Bernie supporters or other posters. It's snide, and Hillary supporters have never learned the first rule of politics and comedy: Don't punch down.
