(45,319 posts)National Television. Her 'apology' was a Tweet. She never sought out a camera to make those corrections in spite of the fact that she sought out that camera to make those bogus and hurtful assertions.
It's not my job to point out that after a nationally televised revision of LGBT history some politician whispered a quiet apology for being entirely wrong. It's her job to correct the record.
Look around you. Does this country strike you as a place where it is safe to misrepresent the courage of the LGBT community as some sort of toxic apathy which only Ronald Reagan could cut through? Are we really the community she needs to misspeak about and use to gain right wing support? Do you think such lies help the LGBT community? I sure don't.
