In the view of many Republicans he had his chance and blew it.

If their convention goes to a floor fight they would be hard pressed to not give it to Cruz.

It's wishful thinking for the Romney family to think it would go any other way if it goes to a floor fight. He would be climbing the Himalayas in the middle of winter believing he's going to make it if he were to try this knowing that he failed the last time during perfect weather conditions the last time he tried.
