(98,883 posts)preferred another selection, my biggest concern isn't the disagreement with some of his positions, because he will follow the lead of the President, but that he will be a passionate advocate for the President's stated positions.
I don't know what kind of fighter he is. I know Elizabeth Warren is a fighter, and while I understand why Elizabeth Warren was not chosen, because the risk of the republican govenor replacing her with a republican, was not worth the risk of potentially losing the Senate, I do want the VP, Kane in this case, to be as much of a passionate fighter as Elizabeth Warren would be.
That is my biggest concern regarding Tim Kane. I don't know what kind of a fighter he is. That will determine more than anything if it was a right choice or not in my view
President Obama choose Biden because of Biden's experience, and because Joe is a fighter, though at times he can put his foot in his mouth, he had passion, which I hope Kaine has
