2016 Postmortem
In reply to the discussion: I am getting so nervous about Tim Kaine. I had a bad feeling beforehand [View all]StevieM
(10,596 posts)21. I don't imagine women the way you described at all.
You have misjudged me.
I just know that Bill and Barack are successful presidential candidates whose instincts are trusted by many in their orbit. And it was repeatedly reported that they were both pushing for Kaine.
I got the impression--perhaps wrong--that she had a soft spot for Vilsack that she didn't have for anyone else.
If she wins then I suspect Secretary Vilsack will be strongly considered for White House Chief of Staff.
For the record, I think John Kerry would also have been much better of picking Vilsack than Edwards. He was a finalist, along with Edwards and Richard Gephardt.

I'm sorry, but this post is ridiculously out of line. Concern trolling at its worst.

I didn't like him; I have many "No Kaine" posts around here. But I've changed my mind about him.

Trump has been calling Hillary names for months, so I guess she shouldn't be our nominee?

You misunderstood me. I don't believe at all that Tim Kaine is corrupt. But the GOP is very good

Trump voters were never going to vote for Hillary had she chosen Jesus Christ for VP.

And look what they did to John Kerry. They took a war hero and made him into a coward.

Correction it's Trump who is calling him "corrupt Kaine" and we know the liar he is.
