8. My views of Sanders weren't based on any attacks from the primaries

I honestly didn't pay much attention to the primaries until about May, so I can't speak for others but I think some of my anti-Sanders feeling were more of a "yeah right, this really isn't about you". Cynicism in other words. I always loved Obama but I think he was also somewhat honest about also being a politician and having to do politician things. With Sanders, I felt like he was trying to be some pious Senator that was just full of himself. When he kept pushing on, I thought he was just doing what politicians do, and didn't care much about the actual message. I'm not a fool, he is human and I know he isn't perfect or that he has zero ego, ever. But he is probably one of the most honest people to run for either major party in a long, long, long time.

I think the problem that some people have with Sanders is there have been a lot of presidential candidates that have come along claiming they care about us and not themselves but are clearly full of shit. Its difficult to actually see an honorable politician when they come along.
