2. You're not nuts. Why? Because Mittens still has to work hard to get enough delegates.

Even if he wins SC, if Gingrich comes in a strong second, and he and Santorum capture the bulk of delegates together, Mittens has a problem.

The same goes for FL where I know that Mittens has the lead. Again, the same holds true.

The big problem for the "Not Romney" candidates is that they won't appear on the Tennesee or Virginia ballots, opening the door for Romney to run away.

HOWEVER...

Ron Paul could do well in those states, further cutting down the number of delegates needed to win. Or, at least making it a tough, drawn out race for Romney where he'll have to campaign further in upcoming primaries/caucuses.

Bottom line: Mittens should be locking down this nomination much quicker than he is. He isn't. And turnout is not good, neither is enthusiasm on the Republican side.

That's bad news for Mittens.
